Because I’m nothing if not a procrastinator.

I’m listening to some musical numbers.  The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, The King and I, Annie…  I actually think I want to watch Annie soon.  I haven’t seen it in a couple years, but I have it on DVD.  I’m pretty positive that the last time I watched it was right after I bought it.  I bet my nephew would love to watch it with me if today wasn’t Sunday and we didn’t have two TV shows to watch later.  I have him on Thursday and Friday afternoons though, so we can watch it one of those days.  :]

I didn’t write at all yesterday.  We got all caught up on Glee and Grey’s though, so that’s good.  I fully intended on sitting down to write before bed, but I was far too tired and had to be up at 3:45 this morning.  So yeah, it just didn’t happen.  BUT! I have three days off this week, and I’m going to write extra lots.  I predict that weekends are going to be very tough for me to get any writing done.  I’m far too wound up after working 10+ hours on Saturdays and then again on Sundays.  I’m not even going to bother trying to get any writing done tonight.  Right after I publish this post I’m going to snuggle in bed with my husband and watch some Heroes.

I’m only writing this blog post so that I have an excuse to listen to music for a little bit.  (Also so that I don’t go two full days without writing anything at all.)  I’m not the type of writer who can listen to music as I write fiction.  Blogs, yes.  Stories, not so much.  I’m too easily influenced by things that are happening around me to be able to focus on writing a story that’s purely my own with music going on.  When you think about it, music is really just a short story told to music, and if I can’t read during NaNoWriMo, I certainly can’t listen to music while I’m writing.

Walter just brought in a hat full of change from his car, jingled it, and said “How many dimes do you think are in here?” and I said “Two?”.  So he dumped the change on the bed and Lo! there were only two times in all the bunch!  (Only two dimes.  *sad face*)  Then he told me I should go to all the circuses where you guess how much of something is in a jar, because apparently I am a circus freak.   His words.

Also it is freezing in my room.  I’m debating turning on the heats.
