Blogs I Heart

The Bloggess  –  Um, just check her out.  There is nothing witty I can say here to encompass all of what she is.

Charlie McDonnell  –  Charlie is a YouTube content creator and one of my very favorite people anywhere on the internet.  He makes music and vlogs and creative content, and I haven’t watched a single video or read a single blog post that I didn’t LOVE.

Georgia Dunn Studio  –  The personal blog of artist Georgia Dunn, a Rhode Island native who married a video game artist and moved to Washington (the state, not D.C.).  She’s inspirational and she’s funny and she’s extremely talented.  Sometimes she shares her art, and sometimes she just tells stories about her life.  All of her posts are gold.

Hyperbole and a Half  –  At Hyperbole and a Half, Allie shares stories about her life with fantastic illustrations of her life and her dogs.  It is great.

Katie Blogs  –  Katie is funny (and punny) and honest and real.  In her words:  “Basically I’m a whole lot of crazy in one calm-cool-collected (kind of) package.”  That’s the truth.

Screwtop Reviews  –  Aaron is my nemesis.  He’s ugly and stupid (and it’s okay if I say that because I’ve known him since high school), but he’s also a movie critic and he knows movies.  It’s about the only thing he knows.  He reviews all the stuff I want to see and all the stuff I don’t.

Swan Eaters  –  Georgia Dunn has created yet another masterpiece with her comic about The Hawker Family: a traveling gypsy-type family of psychics, the sons of Grandma Hawker’s love affair with Rasputin, and mystical creatures in the 1940’s.  It. Is. Awesome.

The Well-Fed Artist  –  My friend Mary is an artist and an author.  I met her playing video games (which is how I meet most people these days).  She blogs about all sorts of things, and I just love her.

Wil Wheaton dot Net: 2.0  –  Wil Wheaton is, well, he’s Wil Wheaton.  He’s an actor and an author, and I’m totally a fangirl for him.  Everyone has to know who Wil Wheaton is.
